Job Description

As Controlling Specialist, you will hold a central role within our organization, actively managing our controlling and financial analysis functions. Your responsibilities will encompass hands-on involvement in ensuring the precision of financial planning, budget management, and performance evaluation processes. We equip you with cutting-edge tools, allowing you to channel your expertise into ensuring the utmost efficiency and precision in the controlling processes. Your exceptional expertise in controlling and financial management will be instrumental in steering our organization and clients towards financial success.

Key Responsibilities

Controlling Expertise: Leverage your expertise in controlling to contribute to the effectiveness of our financial operations
Crafting Comprehensive Financial Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aimed at enhancing the financial performance of both clients and our organization.
In-Depth Financial Monitoring: Your role involves the ongoing monitoring of crucial financial indicators. You will meticulously analyze the results and provide valuable insights, enabling informed decision-making
Trusted Financial Guidance: Serve as a trusted financial advisor, offering tailored financial solutions and expert guidance to meet our client needs
Robust Risk Management: Implement effective risk assessment and compliance measures to safeguard valuable assets and ensure our clients’ financial security
Compliance Oversight: Ensure rigorous adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards across our financial operations, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and compliance

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in finance, controlling, or a related field, or a commercial education with substantial professional experience
2+ years’ experience; ideally in the biotechnology field
Deep understanding of financial strategies, risk management, and financial monitoring
Proficiency in controlling, forecasting, and budgeting, along with familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, ideally Business Central
A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Business fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
