Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play an integral part in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to manage accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and industry standards. We provide you with cutting-edge tools, enabling you to utilize your expertise for optimal efficiency and precision in payroll processe. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver exceptional payroll services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Payroll Accounting: Manage the functional and system-side control of monthly payroll accounting, ensuring accuracy
Compliance with regulations: Overseeing and maintaining working time, tax and social security regulations
Reporting and Documentation: Handle reporting and certification with social insurance agencies, tax offices, and relevant authorities, ensuring the accuracy and punctuality of payroll-related documentation
Process Optimization: Actively contribute to the further development of HR systems and assist in optimizing payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and statistics, conduct personnel data analysis, and support monthly and year-end closing activities to contribute to precise financial reporting

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field, or a commercial education with substantial professional experience
Strong professional background in payroll accounting
Competence in income tax and social security law
Familiarity with common MS Office applications; knowledge of Datev is desirable
Proactive mindset and a commitment to maintaining absolute discretion
Business fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
