Job Description

As a Controlling Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, driving the accuracy and efficiency of our financial planning, budget management, and performance evaluation processes. You will be at the heart of our financial operations, using your expertise to ensure the highest standards of precision and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Budget Management: Oversee budget preparation and monitor ongoing budget performance. Identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
Performance Evaluation: Assess financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks. Provide insightful reports and recommendations to management.
Data Management: Utilize advanced financial tools and software to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather relevant information, support financial initiatives, and promote a culture of financial discipline and accountability.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in finance, controlling, or a related field, or a commercial education with professional experience
Good understanding of financial strategies, risk management, and financial monitoring
Basic knowledge in controlling, forecasting, and budgeting, along with familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, ideally Business Central
A hands-on approach with problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Business fluency in German; proficiency in English is a plus
